This traditional Korean snack (Gangjeong) is made with brown rice and rice syrup locally produced in Icheon, Korea where it is famous for its emperor's seal rice and for its farming practices. No sugar added, no additives, no preservatives. It is lightly sweetened with natural rice syrup.
How it is made:
Fresh brown rice is first put in a Korean traditional rotating steel pressure machine (aka popping cannon machine) to make rice puffs. Then the rice syrup is mixed together with the rice puffs to create a perfectly sweet and crunchy snack.
