Phellinus Linteus, known as Sang Hwang Mushroom in Korea, is a type of medicinal mushroom that grows on mulberry trees. It is suggested that it stimulates the immune system and protects against illness. It is also suggested by local alternative health practitioners that it helps fight some forms of cancers such as breast cancer and lung cancer but it has not been confirmed.
These medicinal mushrooms are farmed from specific regions in Gangwondo, and are only harvested while in season. They are then dried through traditional methods and packaged in HACCP-certified facilities in order to ensure only clean, high-quality products.
Certified Organic by Korean Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.
