[Book Introduction]

Say this to yourself once a day:

“Thank you. Thank you for living life to the fullest today!”

Who is the happiest person in the world? It is the person who affirms and cheers for themselves, no matter where they are or what they are doing. Those far removed from happiness are conditioned by the habit of denying themselves at all times and in all places.

Hope always runs far away to those who are more accustomed to failure than success, and to tears than laughter. Once a day, look into the mirror and say this: “Thank you. Thank you for living life to the fullest today!” Even though the weight of reality—crushing people and worn down by daily life—is always overwhelming, and even though daily life, thirsty for success and hungry for love, is always lonely, hope is always close at hand to those who convey words of love and gratitude to themselves. Let us encounter the true happiness that was originally yours through this high-quality essay collection, which exquisitely blends the ‘all-time best works of the Korean Air Photo Exhibition’ sponsored by Korean Air with aphorisms overflowing with the fragrance of proverbs by author Godowon, who delivers messages of hope and happiness to 2.18 million people every morning.

Let us encounter the true happiness that was yours from the very beginning.

A book that makes us realize that the power of self-affirmation is the shortcut to happiness.

At the Morning Letter Meditation Center, which provides time for rest and healing for modern people exhausted in body and mind,

as the first and final step of meditation,

we smile the most beautiful smile in the world and say: “I love you, thank you.”

People say that communication with the world is the shortcut to success, but true success and happiness begin with communication with oneself.

‘Communication with oneself,’ where you affirm and love yourself starting from within,

is the first step toward reconciling with the world and the best way to lift yourself up again within it. A book that helps you realize that the power of self-affirmation is the path to creating ultimate happiness.

Through the new book *Morning Letter* by Go Do-won,

Let's meet the true happiness that was yours from the very beginning.

5. A Person Who Knows How to Be Grateful… From Godowon's Morning Letter

[From the Book]

Since everything I currently possess is ultimately just another name for the countless footprints I have walked, I realize that I must nevertheless live in reconciliation with the world. To reconcile with the world is ultimately to reconcile with myself, and that is also the act of lifting myself up again within the world. - From the Preface
