Sanaecho (Wild Strawberry Vinegar) is the first wild strawberry vinegar successfully produced in Korea.
San Aecho is an agricultural business entity that produces the only wild strawberry wine vinegar in the nation, created through industry-academia collaboration between Gyeongsang National University and Gimhae City (New Knowledge Agriculturalist Award No. 222). It is a farm that directly cultivates wild strawberries using pesticide-free and organic methods (the first successful attempt in the country) and engages in direct production.
Vinegar originated when preserved alcohol underwent an accidental transformation. It is said that even during the Roman Empire, many nobles, including Cleopatra, enjoyed drinking vinegar for health and beauty.
With a 3,000-year history of vinegar, strong alcoholic vinegar and wine vinegar appear in the Book of Moses in the Old Testament.
The Book of Ruth also records that Ruth received and drank a beverage made of vinegar.
◎ How to Consume
1. If you do not wish to drink it with plain water, you can mix one capful (or adjust the amount) into yogurt or fruit drinks.
