Bumpy bitter melons, resembling a goblin's club...
That is why we must insist on eco-friendly cultivation for bitter melons...
They look quite good this year.
I planted a few bitter melons last year next to the Solomon's seal field without knowing any better.
Many people sought them out more than I expected, and they sold out quickly.
So this year, I created some impressive works of art through contract farming with an elderly gentleman from the neighboring village.
They are just starting to grow up the greenhouse pillars.
Thankfully, compared to last year, the color and shape are quite excellent.
Selling them fresh results in too much loss (based on last year's experience),
so this year, I am drying the entire harvest in a drying machine.
Bumpy and bumpy like gears~
They dried very well.
Using the word "Mani," which means jade bead,
I also created the name "Yeoju Mani" for the bitter melon tea...
And instead of just printing on labels to use,
I designed and attached these cool name tags like this.
Stretch, stretch~~
Bulging, bulging~~
Although it has a somewhat strong bitter taste, it is rich in dietary fiber,
making bitter melon a charming ingredient that makes our bodies healthier...
You can remove the bitterness by roasting it in a frying pan and brewing it into tea,
or you can remove it by boiling it together with Solomon's seal or Jerusalem artichoke,
even more so.
The newly improved Yeoju Mani...
Please make good use of it.
