Since 1993, Donggang Maru has developed the deep flavor and rich nutritional ingredients of their Red Pepper Powder. Sourced from peppers grown in the fresh clean air and clear waters of Gangwon-do. Gangwon-do is famous for having the best climate and environment to naturally grow and cultivate Korean peppers.
The peppers are produced in limestone areas and contain various essential trace elements for the human body including Vitamin A, Vitamin C, capsaicin, dihydrocapsaicin, potassium, and calcium. The vitamin C content, in particular, is higher than conventional red pepper powders, ranging from 93-173 mg!
