Known as Chal-Oksusu in Korea, it is the most common type of corn in Korea. These glutinous corns are sticky and has a denser, chewier consistency compared to regular corns. When coked, the corn kernels become slightly translucent and the color is almost white.  It is also called waxy corn in English reflecting this property as well. 

Gangwondo Steamed Glutinous Corn comes in two fully steamed corns in a vacuumed pack.  

How to Serve:

Microwave: Cut the corner of the package, put it in and microwave for 3~4 minutes. It's ready to serve!

Boiling Water: Put the whole vacuum-sealed package in boiling water. Let it boil for 5 to 10 minutes.
